Rob Peacock (MA, CFRE) is a Certified Fund Raising Executive with 30 years of fundraising experience.

Previously, Rob fulfilled numerous senior development and leadership roles at Habitat for Humanity Canada, Junior Achievement of Canada Foundation, PC Canada Fund, Mt. Sinai Hospital Foundation, the University of Toronto, and Ryerson University.

He is Past Chair of the Association of Fundraising Professionals in Canada, and served on the Board of the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Rob holds a Masters degree in Philanthropy and is a Faculty Member for the Masters in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at Carleton University, Canada’s first Masters program in Philanthropy, where he also sits on the Advisory Committee.

Rob has also been a Visitor in Residence of the Institute for Corporate Directors Not-For-Profit Governance Essentials Program at the Rotman School of Management and has authored two books: Face Time: Relationship Philanthropy and Engagement: A Resource for Volunteer Boards.

Dr. Pina Pejovic, Senior Associate, Public Affairs Research/Program Evaluations and Reviews

Dr. Pejovic has extensive experience in Public Affairs research, having worked on both the client and supplier side for greater than 25 years. She is active in all areas of research, and specializes in the healthcare, education, and government sectors. Her main strengths are in program evaluations and reviews; qualitative research – focus groups, stakeholder engagement and in-depth interviews; and business and strategic planning.  Dr. Pejovic provides strategic insights, evidence and knowledge that is transformative and actionable.  She helps clients improve performance, comply with complex policies and regulations, and reduce costs—delivering measurable, sustainable results.

Pina has directed an extensive and diverse portfolio of studies within the sphere of social research, public policy, and strategic analysis of public programs. Her clients include federal, provincial and municipal public-sector organizations and associations in health care, community and home care, public health, mental health, social services, training, education, and non-profit/charity sectors.

Dr. Pejovic is a strong advocate for the utilization of a performance measurement model that facilitates governance and accountability; allowing clients the ability to measure and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of their strategies, determine the gap between actual and targeted performance, and determine organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency. She is also an expert in quantitative data and analysis methodologies including developing Key Performance Indicators for public sector organizations.

Dr. Pejovic leads a consultancy firm specializing in providing strategic and innovative research and evaluation solutions, and was previously Senior Vice President at Harris/Decima and Vice President at Ipsos Reid. Pina holds both a Doctorate and Master’s Degree in Sociology from York University. She is a member of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) and currently sits on the Board of Directors and the Human Resources Committee for Kinark Child and Family Services.

In a world where loyalty is literally fleeting, Geoff uses creative stimuli and communications media tools to convert those mere moments into commitment to a long-term relationship.

Geoff’s innate skill is in getting a brand or entity right down to its molecular level—discovering the what matters to people—and then making it combustible through media and communications platforms that convey to select audiences why it matters to them and how they must participate.

Pierre Tessier, Quebec Senior Associate Marketing/Public Relations, Public Affairs and Media/Spokesperson Training

Pierre Tessier is a Montreal, Quebec, based, fully bilingual, award winning communicator with more than 30 years of experience.

A former journalist, publicist, spokesman and teacher, Pierre co-founded Communications Infrarouge and previously worked for Optimum relations publiques for over 20 years where he oversaw several teams specializing in public relations, press relations, special events and the training of spokespeople (media and oral presentation). In 2009, he won two public relations Awards of Excellence for the inauguration of the spent potlining treatment plant from the Canadian Public Relations Society and la Société québécoise des professionnels en relations publiques.

A media training specialist, Pierre benefits from his experience as a journalist, publicist, spokesman and teacher, allowing him to illustrate his words with examples drawn from his professional past. He has trained dozens of spokespeople from the business, medical, cultural, media, political, para-governmental and sports worlds. From 1983 to 1985, he was the parliamentary correspondent for the program D’un soleil à l’autre, aired on Radio-Canada. From 1985 to 1987, he worked in the Franco-Ontario theatrical community, handling governmental relations, promotion, press relations and the coordinating of events. Pierre was also a reporter for le Réseau des Sports. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Communication from the University of Ottawa (1983)

Pierre has provided his expertise to clients such as the Canadian Space Agency, Agropur (Natrel), l’Association des centres jeunesse du Québec (Quebec Association of Youth Centers), la Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Brunet, the Red Cross, CST Brands (Ultramar and Dépanneur du Coin/Corner Store), Metro Inc., Pratt & Whitney Canada, Six Flags – La Ronde, la Société des Alcools du Québec and Transat A.T. Inc. Several major companies, including General Motors of Canada, Transat, La Ronde and CST Brands have also given him the role of media spokesman.

As an educator, he taught a course called Pratiques avancées en relations publiques (2010-2012) to graduate students in Marketing Communication at the University of Sherbrooke and Communication orale (1992-2012) at l’Université de Montréal. Pierre also sits on the Board of Directors of Refuge des jeunes de Montréal.

Dave is a veteran media and communications executive, an award-winning ‘eye level’ broadcaster, writer, and storyteller with a reputation for clarity of expectations, ‘on point’ strategic advice and an engaging leadership style.

He’s reported from five national capitals and every province in Canada, earned accolades for his coverage of local, national, and international stories and won awards for his editorial commentary. He’s an accomplished senior media and communications professional with expertise in public affairs communications, media relations, the broadcast and digital journalism media industry, and currently hosts the Weekend Morning Show on Newstalk1010 in Toronto.

Dave brings his experience as both a radio broadcaster and media story expert and combines it to produce insightful, high-quality level podcasts for clients that can be distributed to media and placed on their social media feeds or web sites, and to teach the fundamentals of media interaction and communications issues management.

He has been a major market News Director, leading award-winning teams at AM640, Newstalk1010 CFRB, and Global News Toronto. He’s covered some of the biggest international events of our time, including the funeral of Pope John Paul II, the inauguration of Barack Obama and the Royal Wedding of William and Kate and he’s been a front-line observer of events that have shaped the political and cultural landscape of the Greater Toronto Area since the mid 1980’s.

Dave has received the Radio Television Digital News Association Distinguished Service Award “in recognition and appreciation of outstanding contribution and exemplary distinguished service rendered for the benefit and advancement of electronic journalism and RTDNA Canada.” He is one of the founders of University of Toronto Community Radio, CIUT FM and has taught broadcast journalism at Humber College and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Western Ontario, Journalism Dept.

PR veteran brings 25+ years of experience as a Corporate Communications/Public Relations professional—strategic communications work has included plans, press releases, proposals, president’s messaging, HR memos to staff, executive summaries, annual reports, brochures, speeches, and website rebranding

Mimi’s experience is vast—having worked in PR agencies including Lee DDB Needham PR in Taipei, Taiwan, Hill & Knowlton Strategies, Weber Shandwick and GCI Group in Toronto—for clients including Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited, Microsoft, Birks, Mattel, Inc., Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, Christian Dior Cosmetics, Spiegel Catalogues, TGI Fridays and Canadian Dermatology Association—and is fluent in Mandarin.

Mimi also served for more than a decade as Manager, Strategic Communications, Branding and Public Affairs for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (now CPA Canada) where she was the Program Director for the association’s Corporate Reporting Awards and led all sponsorship, stakeholder relations and marketing communications efforts. She also worked with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada to plan and incorporate a judging category for Crown corporations into the overall awards.

Mimi has a diverse assignment experience ranging from preparing online newsletters, press releases, president’s messaging, event scripting and remarks for the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC)— a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to link Canadian businesses with Aboriginal and minority-owned suppliers—to working with Swerve Design Group clients such as the Ontario Genomics Institute, the Electronics Product Stewardship Canada and Toronto Centre with their annual reports. Mimi has also provided content, copy and design advice for websites of The Change Foundation, Allen Leigh Recruiting, Penmore Financial and Pack Pro Inc. Mimi is a graduate student contract professor of Corporate Communications and Government Relations programs at Seneca@York. Her courses have included PR Writing, Media Relations for PR and GR, Internal Communications, Introduction to Research for GR and PR. She’s also the faculty lead for VOICES, an annual public speaking competition for communications, marketing & advertising students at Seneca, Humber, Centennial and Georgian colleges.

A career analyst with extensive capital markets expertise, David has over 25 years of experience in equity research, investment banking and advisory services with high growth Canadian technology companies. As a Senior Associate of DART, he provides investment banking and capital markets advice to growth oriented, technology advantage companies, seeking higher growth and valuation prospects.

David also works closely with the DART Communications group clients for investor relations launch and material announcements, presentations and collateral support production, and business/corporate media relations.

David’s investment banking experience includes raising money, providing valuations, fairness opinions, and sponsorships, and conducting strategic corporate activities such as negotiating favourable price for a corporate acquisition and establishing terms for an IP licencing agreement.

Having held positions as Director of Research for boutique institutional brokerage research firms and a private equity company targeting investments in mainland China, David has been exposed to an extensive assortment of investment opportunities and challenges.  This has proven to be invaluable experience when assessing new opportunities.  Previously, David held the position of Managing Director, BMO Nesbitt Burns as an Equity Research Analyst covering North American Software and IT Services companies.

David has analyzed hundreds of companies in dozens of industries including information technology, telecommunications, graphic arts, aerospace, defense, medical, finance, mining, and retail.  Fund managers have acknowledged his valuable insight gained through competitive analysis and financial modelling, intertwined with a thorough understanding of technology and investing trends. David’s superior record of accomplishment of investment recommendations has been recognized with a No. 1 ranking as North America’s Top Stock Picker in the Software sector.

A graduate of the Directors Education Program of the Institute of Corporate Directors-Rotman, he has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honours) in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.  He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Private Capital Markets Association of Canada, an Advisory board member of, and a past board member of a Toronto Stock Exchange -Venture listed payment processor.
