With thirty years of experience as a strategic advisor and senior administrator, Amorell is known for delivering impactful results across a number of sectors, including post-secondary education, health care, not-for profit and government.
Adaptable, creative and insightful, Amorell has a solid reputation as a results-oriented leader and consultant who brings her experience in corporate communications, senior management, governance and equity, diversity and inclusion to bear on the work she does for clients.
She’s regularly invited to speak to groups on equity related matters and has received several awards for her commitment to diversity and social justice issues. Fluent in French, Amorell is particularly skilled at issues and crisis management, stakeholder relations and organizational development.
Amorell studied journalism at Ryerson and worked in newsrooms in Toronto and Montreal before focusing on public relations and corporate communications. She has a Masters’ degree in Education from the University of Toronto.
Fun fact: Amorell was the inaugural marketing communications manager of Ontario’s first-ever toll route, 407 ETR. She promoted the toll highway across North America and travelled the route when it was just open fields.
